About Us

CHERUBS (Cheshire Really Useful Breastfeeding Support) is a partnership project facilitated by Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust.  Other main partners include East Cheshire NHS Trust and Cheshire East Council.

The aim of CHERUBS is to become the local brand for all NHS led breastfeeding support groups within Cheshire.  In addition, we want to provide mothers (and mothers-to-be) with access to further information and resources around breastfeeding and allow them to search online for groups they can attend to mix with other mothers and seek assistance from health professionals.

As part of the CHERUBS brand there is also a Charter that businesses can sign up to - this Charter will reward any venue that is positive about breastfeeding by including their details on this web site.  The venue will also receive a branded window sticker and a certificate.

CHERUBS accessed the opinions and input of local mothers to determine the branding and the content for the site.
